Music in the Parks

The final month of the Music in the Parks cycle

The last eight concerts will take place in August and feature jazz and classical music.

Like every year, Barcelona’s parks and gardens are full of music this summer thanks to the City Council, which organizes the Music in the Parks cycle with concerts featuring classical music and jazz in a series of unique performances that are open to everyone. The cycle, which runs from June to August and includes some forty performances, is now entering the final straight with eight concerts scheduled for August.

The first of these concerts in August features the Arsis Trio, who will be performing classic pieces by Mozart, Braga and Bruch in Parc de Joan Miró on 1 August. The Uptown Racoon jazz formation will follow them at Parc de la Ciutadella on 2 August. A week later, on 9 August , the pianist Blai Mañer will also be appearing at Parc de la Ciutadella, while on 15 August, the Pau Mainé Trio will be playing live at Parc de l’Estació del Nord. On the following day, the Rai Paz 4et will be at the Parc de la Ciutadella. On 22 August, the Neus Plana and Maria Camahort Duo will play at Jardí de Rubó i Lluch followed the next day by the Payés Quartet at Parc de la Ciutadella.
