Comes the 3rd edition of the Apps&Cultura
The Apps&Cultura 2015 contest open their entry period.
The cultural and creative sector is in a process of continuous transformation, like society, and therefore the Direcció de Creativitat i Innovació de l'Institut de Cultura de Barcelona (ICUB) drives, for the third consecutive year, the contest Apps&Cultura 2015.
Apps&Cultura is a contest of ideas of applications to any device (computers, tablets or smartphones), to facilitate and/or promote access to culture or to help creative professionals and cultural industry strengthen and further develop its business.
The competition is open to any person or team. A jury will select the best ideas presented and these will move into a phase of training. The two best projects selected by the jury, will be awarded 9,000€ per team to develop the application, and also enjoy training and residency in the future Canódromo Creative Research Park for three months.
In addition, participants on Apps & Culture can win a prize of 13,500 euros if they use facilitators (enablers) FI- FI- WARE Content2 and may reach the final of the Barcelona Smart City Apps Hack.
