This showcase for dance is open to the general public through ballet galas and open days.
IBStage is a classical dance program that aims to bring together new talents in the discipline with professional dancers from major European companies. Thanks to the efforts they have made, they have managed to become the most widely recognized summer program of these characteristics in Europe. People from all over the world come to Barcelona to participate, doing ballet lessons for several weeks and showcasing their talents at the Gran Teatre del Liceu. In addition, the gala performances, scheduled for 1 and 2 September, will see the participation of Polina Semionova and the Ballet de Catalunya.
The open days at Institut del Teatre, where the classes are held, will be from 15 to 30 August. To see the general rehearsals, head there from the 20th on and you’ll be able to visit from 10am to 5pm.
