Movies featuring our favourite painters on Cultural Tuesdays
Cinemes Verdi is a favourite venue among film fans in Barcelona. The cinema has been bringing fine films to the city for many years now, including less conventional and commercial titles. Tuesdays have long been devoted to more culturally-oriented offerings featuring films selected from the Exhibition On Screen on painting and from now until the end of June will feature three screenings of a title exploring the lives of outstanding artists such as Munch, Van Gogh, Dalí, Raphael, Degas, Canaletto, Bosch, Vermeer, Picasso, Boticelli, Caravaggio, Goya, Bernini, Rembrandt and Monet.
The screenings will take place at 11.30 am, 6.15 pm and 8.30 pm every Tuesday from 5 February to 9 July at Cinemes Verdi in Gràcia.
Tickets for the morning sessions cost €6.50, while admission to the afternoon and evening sessions costs €8. Additional information is available at the Cinemes Verdi website.
