Circus Night

Awards and entertainment at Catalan Circus Night

Circus Night will see the premiere of ‘UNDER. Històries sota terra’ and the presentation of the Zirkolika Awards.

Circus lovers are in luck because Circus Night, the most special evening for clowns, trapeze artists and jugglers, is back for another edition. The show will also include the exclusive premiere of ‘UNDER. Històries sota terra’, the first co-production by Zirkòlika, which offers us a grand tour of different cities around the world on which we will discover the architectural beauty of their underground stations through video art. The story describes the underground journey of an enthusiastic solitary clown looking for a place to spend New Year's Eve who finds on the way a number of fun characters who will surprise him with their skills at juggling, acrobatics, and humour. The journey is accompanied by live music that evokes the countries through which this fabulous underground railway travels: Portugal, Italy, Sweden, Germany, France and Spain.

Circus Night will take place at 8pm on 19 December at Born Centre de Cultura i Memòria. This year's edition also includes the gala of the 9th annual Circ de Circ de Catalunya Awards. In this edition, more than 44 proposals were received from 34 different companies. In total, the jury will announce 11 awards.

El Born CCM sells tickets for 'UNDER. Històries sota terra'. Tickets cost €12 and are available for purchase at the following link.
