Casa de les Punxes

Casa de les Punxes: a building to explore and savour

You are invited to explore one of Barcelona's architectural wonders while enjoying a unique culinary experience.

The Casa de les Punxes is one of Barcelona's most emblematic buildings and a jewel of Catalan modernism. If you're walking along the stretch of the Diagonal nearby you'll inevitably be taken aback by the striking forms of its spiked towers. And although it's a well known sight from the outside, few people have explored it from the inside; in fact, until now, it's only been open for visits in August since 2016. If you're interested in finding out what lies within, you can visit the building and then enjoy a unique culinary experience with an aperitif at the ground floor Vermuteria Matalaranya.

You can also call in at the vermouth bar on its own, without visiting the building, but the combined visit offer, priced at €29 including local products, good beer and attractive Catalan specialities, makes the complete package very tempting.

The Casa de les Punxes can now be visited every day of the year, from 9am to 8pm. Guided tours are available from Friday to Sunday. You can check out all the options on the building's website, where you can also book tickets.
