Call opens for director of the Mercat de les Flors
The Mercat de les Flors Consortium has published the rules of the selection process to appoint the position of new director.
The deadline for submission of applications will be one month as of the publication date in the DOGC (Catalan Official Government Journal) on 29 September. The rules establish that candidates must have a university education or higher artistic studies or have studied complete official courses in Spanish, classical or contemporary dance prior to Constitutional Law 1/1990.
The duties of the Director of the Mercat de les Flors consist of ensuring that the centre is characterised by being a benchmark for contemporary dance and movement arts, that it is an exponent of innovation and experimentation, that it attracts a broad and diverse range of users and that it serves to make culture accessible to the public and the area.
