The concert, which will raise money for La Casa dels Xuklis, is scheduled for Tuesday 10 January
Razzmatazz was one of the first music venues in Barcelona to pay tribute to David Bowie, back in January 2016. One year later, coinciding with his death, Razzmatazz is hosting a new concert, The Stars Look Very Different Today, which also aims to raise money for La Casa dels Xuklis, a social initiative by children’s cancer charity AFANOC. The concert is scheduled to begin at 7.30pm on Tuesday 10 January in Sala 1 of this Poblenou concert hall.
The aim is to reproduce the atmosphere of Bowie’s greatest songs with performances by Glaucs, Stand Up Against Heart Crime, Gerard Quintana & Oest de Franc, Ruben Pozo, Seward, Inspira & Sr Canario, Lav Records All Stars, Luis Miguélez, San Leon, Warsun, Mariona Aupí, Elefantes, David Amills & Jaume Vilaseca, Santos, Àlex Torio & Friends, Empar Moliner, Brennevin N’Cigarettes, Jose Bartlett, Oblique & Carlos Bayona, Tori Sparks with Calamento y El Rubio, Ramon Aragall, Conttra, Suite Blackstars and Minova.
All of the money raised by the concert will go to La Casa dels Xuklis, a social initiative by the Association of Children with Cancer (AFANOC). The Casa is a residence that hosts the families of children from outside Barcelona who are undergoing treatment at one of the city’s leading hospitals.
