'Bona Nit Barcelona' recreates the atmosphere of a festa major: a village festival

The star guest of the festival will be Mika

Getting away from the city to the village is always comforting. Changing the asphalt for peace and quiet and a more relaxed pace is priceless. That atmosphere, without having to leave the city, is what is on offer at Bona Nit Barcelona: an evening of eating, music and fun at Poble Espanyol on Saturday 11th June.

The festival is changing its artistic line this year: the idea is to enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere than at more crowded musical events, with a mainly daytime programme that is still good for dancing. That’s why Mika is the head of the festival bill, with his danceable pop. The other groups are also great village festival bands such as Molotov Jukebox and promising local band Acció.

The festival is set to close with the always-fun live act by Two Smoking Fellaz, and the transoceanic presence of a duet made up of Brika and Caloncho. Among the festival’s parallel activities, 3,000 Euros will be given to the best initiative in the cultural sector in the field of promoting awareness of the environment. So, fun and a good cause come together here.
