An exhibition where women reflect on how social changes and new scientific and medical possibilities open up new opportunities.
'Being a Woman. Today' will be open from March 8 to September 1, 2013 at the Maritime Museum of Barcelona
An exhibition which deals with women's health in the broadest sense: a tour of the biological changes that occur in the lives of women, through a contemporary vision of the social position of women and explaining how medical and scientific innovations have contributed to the assumption by women of these new personal challenges and social roles.
The exhibition shows the advances and changes that women have experienced in recent decades and shows how sexuality, family, work, education, maternity, sickness and diversity adopt a new perspective for women.
