The BCN Sports Film Festival features the best in sports films

The festival will offer more than 25 sessions in different venues in Barcelona from the 3rd to the 7th of May.

This year sees the 7th edition of BNC Sport Film, Spain’s most important festival of international sports films and documentaries. More than 400 films from 40 countries are participating in the festival, and the final selection is based on around and hundred titles that will compete in the official section from the 3rd to the 7th of May.

The festival agenda consists of 25 monographic sessions covering a wide variety of sports from the most popular modalities to the Special Olympics and the most outlandish sporting challenges. This wide variety has obliged the festival organisers to increase the number of venues, incorporating spaces like cinema Can Castellet in Sant Boi de Llobregat, the Ateneu Barcelonès, the Auditori de Sant Martí and Centre Cívic Fort Pienc. Consolidated venues that will repeat this year include the Museu Olímpic de l'Esport and the Sala Àmbit Cultural at Corte Inglés department store in Portal de l'Àngel.

Another new development is a section called Love Sport for adults aged 18 and over, which will join long-standing sections aimed at young people and fans of extreme sports. Most of the sessions are still free of charge.
