From the 7th to the 10th of May the festival will pay tribute to the recently deceased Álvaro Bultó and will include the presence of Hristo Stoichkov as guest of honour
As with other editions, the fifth edition of BCN Sports Film will pursue its principal objectives: investigation, examination and dissemination of productions in all possible forms of expression and relating to sport in general. This year’s festival will take place from the 7th to the 10th of May in the Museu Olímpic and the Sala Àmbit Cultural of the Corte Inglés in Portal de l’Àngel.
One of the highlights of this edition will be the session dedicated to the memory of Álvaro Bultó who, curiously enough, was last year’s event ambassador. Another highlight will be the presence of coach and ex-football player, Hristo Stoichkov, as guest of honour in a session dedicated to films relating to the world of football.
As always, BCN Sports Film is free and open to public of all ages and is a perfect opportunity to enjoy audio-visual pieces from different genres and in different formats as well as debut pieces from upcoming talents from around the world. Productions are divided into various subject categories and will include, among others, “Basket Bronx”, “The Sky is Ours”, “96 Boxing Club”, “Nadador”, “The Equestrian” and “100 M”. Parallel activities will include the exhibition “Miradas” by photographer Avelino Pi and the master class on audio-visual post-production “Video Colour Correction Using Da Vinci Resolve”.
