Over six days, swing and lindy hop dancers of all levels who have previously registered for the festival will be invited to attend auditions and master classes with international instructors the likes of William Mauvais, Isabella Gregorio, Pontus Persson, Todd Yannacone and Laura Glaess.

The inaugural party will take place in the Plaça Virreina on Wednesday the 1st of April, beginning at 6 pm, with a performance by Krokodillos. From there the party will continue through the streets of the Gràcia district, arriving at the Espai Jove La Fontana, where the party will continue until 2 am.

From Thursday the 2nd to Sunday the 5th the Casino L’Aliança in Poblenou will be the official centre for auditions and classes while hosting nightly dance parties with live music.

On Thursday the 2nd, beginning at 8 pm, the Black & White 20’s party will feature the Shakin’ All Band. Friday the 3rd will see the turn of Swing Era Party, while Saturday the 4th will feature a 30s and 40s vintage party with the New Jazz Band, in which couples will swap partners in what is known as Jack & Jill style. Also on the Saturday the Ricard Gili Septet will host the Swing Gangs Party. On Sunday the 5th the Glamour Party will feature The Double Swing Combo with Doc Scanlon.

On Monday the 6th of April from 11.30 am to 3 pm in the Plaça Reial the dancers will close out the festival with the now customary outdoor swing and lindy hop ball to the accompaniment of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band.
