Barcelona Robotics Meeting

The great annual meeting of robotics is back. A place to showcase the latest advances in robots and to imagine their immediate future

On Saturday March 22, the Barcelona Robotics Meeting will provide a place to interact and play with robots and will become a meeting point between different educational robotics communities to share, learn and transmit the values of innovation, creativity and entrepreneur spirit.

The purchase by Google of eight companies in robotics has shown that there is an emerging market, not only technological, but also from an economic point of view. This will be one of the issues addressed at the meeting. There will also be talks on medical robotics, autonomous underwater robots, applications of drones for civil use, educational robotics or robotic transport, among many other subjects.

The event will take place at the Mobile World Centre of Barcelona (Plaza Catalunya 16, Barcelona) from 10am to 18:30 pm. The activities are grouped into four blocks:

Exhibitions: space that welcomes the presence of companies and research centers showing their latest research or robots being developed.

Talks: presentations by experts in the world of service robotics.

Competitions: educational robotics competitions offer a show where technology generates emotions.

Workshops: a place to learn concepts of robotics in a practical way.
