Awareness about the environment on the big screen

FICMA, The International Film Festival of the Environment returns to Barcelona with more than 121 films, from 5 to 12 November in various venues around town

 

FICMA turns 22 editions in 2015. The International Film Festival of the Environment is one of the oldest cycles of ecological consciousness in the world, and for its 22nd edition, to be held from 5 to November 12,  projects more than 120 film documentary and fiction.

FICMA 2015 is placed in Cinemes Girona, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona University, Blanquerna-URL and the Argentine Consulate. In their screens we will films that address issues such as ecology, culture, economics, migration processes, biodiversity, nature, social issues, and climate change, in a set of more than 120 projections.

 

Thus, the film of climate hope invites us to discover a way to change the patterns of everyday life and guarantee the health of our planet. Among the films scheduled in FICMA 2015 we  find titles such as Dark Side of the Chew, Nature is Speaking, or Unfair Game, among a long list of recommended works spread over several sections: long documentaries, short documentaries, looks the world premiere, shorts and petit FICMA.
