Art and creativity at Poblenou Open Night

The fifth edition of this event, which will take place on Friday 24 November, has a six-hour programme of free activities.

If you find yourself footloose and fancy free on Friday 24 November, pay heed and head for Poblenou for the 5th annual edition of Poblenou Open Night, when over fifty spaces, including museums, art galleries, advertising agencies, artists' studios, audiovisual creators, training centres, gastronomic venues, shops and hotels, will open up their doors and share their work with the public. Scheduled to run from 7pm to 1am, the event offers six hours of non-stop free activities in which the latest trends in art and creativity come together in a neighbourhood marked by its industrial past and a present linked to culture and technology.

One of the new initiatives in this edition means that guests will be invited to explore the neighbourhood through guided night tours. Some twenty artists will take part in the Windows Art Circuit, a multidisciplinary tour that includes painting, multimedia, photography, illustration, urban art and installations. The Makerspaces Circuit will allow you to explore the different spaces and people working for a new urban model in which cities and citizens produce and manage their resources locally, connecting and collaborating with global networks.

This event is organized by Poblenou Urban District, an association founded in 2012 that aims to promote the neighborhood as the new cultural and entrepreneurial epicenter of the city. You’ll find additional information about Poblenou Open Night at the following link.
