Sergio Belloso and Gaby Mirabet

La Sedeta would like to invite you to some musical aperitifs

For the last fifteen years, this Civic Centre has been organising this cycle, which takes place shortly after noon on Saturdays in May.

A duet featuring Gaby Mirabet and Sergio Belloso, Three Time Losers, The Lindy Hoppers Band and Blues Desfass are the stars of the four concerts scheduled for the 15th edition of the cycle of musical aperitifs that takes place in the porches area of La Sedeta. The event has already become something of a springtime tradition and is a great way to listen to music while enjoying a pre-lunch aperitif. These free concerts are at 12.30 on Saturdays from 5 to 26 May.

First up, on 5 May, are jazzmen Gaby Mirabet (alto sax) and Sergio Belloso (guitar), playing some of the standards of the genre but with their own arrangements that open up to more experimental forms. A week later, it'll be time for some rural style blues, courtesy of Three Time Losers, featuring Blas Picón (vocals, harmonic and washboard), Óscar Rabadán (guitar) and Javier R. Cortés (double bass). This journey through different musical styles will continue on 19 May with the swing sounds of The Lindy Hoppers Band. This quintet, featuring Mireia Feliu (vocals), Sergi Basart (trumpet), David A. Garcia (guitar), David Bayés (double bass) and Xevi Matamala (drums), is specialised in playing music for lindy hop dancers. The cycle will draw to an end with Blues Desfass, whose psychedelic tinged blues-rock approach is distilled on their newly-released album Take It Easy. The band is made up of Leo Carreras (vocals and guitar), Flavio Castiglione (vocals and harmonica), Albert Guitart (bass and vocals) and Fernando Cuervo (drums).
