Action and Reflection: a cycle of conversations at La Pedrera

Leading voices of Catalan culture will feature in the programme

Scheduled within the framework of the Conversations at La Pedrera programme, Action and Reflection features debates with leading voices in Catalan culture and society. The objective of this initiative is to promote a reflection on the issues that worry and effect contemporary society.

The first three debates are set to take place on the 23rd of May under the title Ethics and Leadership, featuring Sister Lucia Caram and  Josep M. Lozano, with journalist and presenter Jaume Barberà as the moderator. The second debate is titled Photography and Social Action (30th May), and will feature philosopher Xavier Antich and photographer Kim Manresa, with journalist and publisher Eduard Voltas moderating.

The cycle will continue with the session Food, Culture and Territory (6th June) featuring Ada Parellada and Jesús Contreras, with Toni Massanés as moderator. The cycle is set to finish with the debate Happiness and Inner Life (13th June), featuring  Josep M. Esquirol and Rafael Santandreu, moderated by writer and presenter Emili Manzano.
