The 10th of October to the 21st of November sees a new edition of Connexions

The series, which focuses on the whole on unpublished musical unions, will take place in the Sala Apolo and feature the likes of Joan Colomo and El Petit de Cal Eril

This year’s edition of the festival Connexions will take place in the Sala Apolo from the 10th of October to the 21st of November. The festival maintains its proposal of offering live musical partnerships, many of which can be seen for the first time, at least in Barcelona. Examples include Joan Colomo and STN! (17/10), the union that goes by the name of Big Eril and features El Petit de Cal Eril & David Mengual Free Spirits Big Band (07/11), or the union, not of bands, but between Jamaican music and jazz offered by The Gramophone Allstars Band (14/11) in their latest formation.

This year, however, Connexions arrives with two little brothers on tow, two parallel concerts cycles called Desconnexions which will be held in the Almo2bar and the JazzSí Club, respectively, and which are not designed to respond to the intentions of the core festival. The venue in the Gràcia district will play host to, among others, Os Meus Shorts, Guillamino & The Control Z 's and Silver Apples, while the Ciutat Vella venue will feature, Toni Saigi, Marco Boi and Clara Sallago.

Connexions and Desconnexions will be held from the 10th of October to the 21st of November in the Sala Apolo, Almo2bar and the JazzSí Club. Prices range from 4 to 14 euros and more information is available on the festival website.
