Music – La Pedrera
Get a free double ticket for 25 August!
The Summer Nights at La Pedrera are offering audiences a unique experience to enjoy the city at night, with live music on the rooftop, and accompanied by one of the most spectacular views of Barcelona.
On 25 August, the programme is delighted to present the Martín Leiton Quartet, a new quartet of young musicians from Barcelona inspired by traditional jazz to develop their own personal language.
Martín Leiton’s own compositions and arrangements of jazz standards comprise the repertoire that opens the evening. The amazing melodic skill of Santi de la Rubia (saxophone), the subtle harmonic inventiveness of Toni Saigi (piano) and the solid volatility of the percussion of Ramon Prats (drums) enables audiences to enjoy the intense experience of this vibrant quartet bursting with life and fresh air.
Audiences will also be able to visit the Espai Gaudí and enjoy a visual tour of the work of this unique architect, followed by a drink on the rooftop, an iconic and emotive place that invites you to experience the architecture, the night, the city and the music.
