A Skull in Connemara transports us to a cemetery in deepest Ireland, in the hands of some solitary, hopeless characters who are nonetheless able to demonstrate the tenderness of life. An ingenious black comedy by the Irish playwright Martin McDonagh, directed by Iván Morales and performed by Pol López, Marta Millà, Oriol Pla and Xavier Sáez.

The story takes place in Connemara, a rural region in the west of Ireland, in the early Nineties. Mick Dowd is a man who lives a dull life, but whose existence takes a different direction in the autumn of every year.

Because Mick has the slightly sinister job of digging up the bodies which have been buried in the local cemetery for more than seven years...
