Director Mario Gas brings to the stage Humans, an accurate portrait of the imperfections and secrets of a lower middle-class family where, despite everything, there's room for hope. The text is by multi award-winning US author Stephen Karam.

Three generations of a family of Irish origin in the United States get together to celebrate Thanksgiving Day in the Chinatown apartment of one of the daughters, which is a break from the tradition of having the meal in the family home in Pennsylvania. The members of the Blake family will start to air their most hidden secrets the moment the meal starts, they’ll argue just as they begin their desserts and, by the end of the day, they’ll be battle-weary.
