Exhibition - MACBA
Get a free double ticket to visit the exhibition!
Between 28 April and 15 October, the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA) is presenting the “Forensic Architecture” exhibition. This is the work of a small group of researchers of the same name who work to locate human rights violations worldwide through social media.
The Forensic Architecture research group is comprised of artists, architects, lawyers, activists and theoreticians who examine how public truth is produced and how this can be used to compare facts with official versions, while denouncing the new forms of violence by the state.
The method of the Forensic Architecture team has become a decisive tool in gathering evidence of crimes against human rights and has given rise to a new form of investigative practice that bears its name: forensic architecture.
