Seus. This Municipal Sports Centre (CEM) currently serves 7,500 members, 900 people enrolled in courses and 26 organisations. 25 years ago, it was the weightlifting venue for the Barcelona '92 Games.
Competitions. Until that date, the application call for the ‘Art on Paper’ prize, organised by the Barcelona Olympic Foundation, will remain open.
JocsBCN92.. The Palau de la Metal·lúrgia was opened in 1929 for the International Exposition and in 1992 it became the venue for the fencing competition.
1992 BCN Games.. The 3rd Conference on the 1992 Barcelona Games’ Volunteers takes place at the Modernista Sant Pau Hospital grounds on Wednesday, 5 April, at 5.30 pm.
Women and sport. The registration deadline ends on 18 April for the 10th Women and Sports Prizes that Barcelona City Council is calling for entries for, through its Barcelona Institute of Sports.
School sport. The SAT (Sant Andreu Theatre) is the chosen venue for the final performances of various Flic Flac Circ schools, from 29 to 31 March.
Olympic venues. This facility has become the home of the Barcelona School Sports Council and a sports amenity for the general public.
City. Voluntaris 2000 has been supporting sport in the city of Barcelona for 25 years, thanks to the involvement of many Barcelona residents.
Facilities. The INEFC, a venue for the Barcelona Olympic Games and Paralympics in 1992, is currently a leading place for university sports training in sport and physical activity.
Roda Barcelona. Barcelona City Council, via the Barcelona Sports Institute, is organising a Roda Barcelona photo competition on Twitter and Instagram called “Viu la Roda” (Enjoy the Roda festival).
