What’s more, on Saturday 10, at 9 pm, there is a 25th Anniversary Party, with an outdoor dinner, concert and festivities. Numbers are limited, so if you want to join in, send an email to email@example.com, and reserve your place.
The Catalan Sailing Federation is also taking part in the commemoration, which is part of the 25th Anniversary celebrations for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, as the centre was built for Barcelona ’92. It is part of the Olympic Port, the Olympic venue for the sailing competitions.
Teaching us how to enjoy the sea
This is the ambition of the Municipal Sailing Centre (CMV), where thousands of students during the year, and hundreds of young people in the summer, go to enjoy a different kind of sport. The centre aims to transmit a passion for the sea, for sailing, for nature, for the feel of a boat or the sound of the wind. The CMV’s objective is to be the sports platform that provides Barcelona residents and any other sailing enthusiast with access to the sea.
